Register.com. The new name reflects our ongoing commitment to providing a full suite of products and

Register offers its services to small- and medium- sized businesses, large corporations and
individual consumers. Additionally, Register.com partners with ISPs, Web hosting companies and other
online businesses that wish to resell their domain name registration services. They offer customers
a quick and user-friendly registration process, backed by 24 x 7 online and toll-free phone customer
supports.
Register has announced it would not charge users to register domain names with the InterNIC to
lure people to its advertising-supported site and Web-hosting services. Most companies charge a
premium for registration services, although they are often waived when customers also sign on for
Web hosting. |

| • If you want simply to register a domain and wait to see if you are going to build a site,
Register.com fee of 35 for a year is fairly steep. But if you are accurately going to construct a
site, you will like its wonderful customer support and nothing different than any others.
• I am registered two url through register.com for personal use, and at the start I was very happy.
The automated registration system worked well, and a few hours after I registered I had working
domains. It was so fast and easy!
• All three of Register.com's Web hosting packages come with excellent service and support. The
eCommerce package supports shopping cart and credit-card-processing features and Register.com is a
very well known Domain Name company. They also have very helpful customer service 24 hours a day too.
• Nothing but great all things. Register.com has made it fast and easy for me to manage my site. I
can focus on promotion and leave all of the technical issues to them. I haven't read any of the
other reviews for register.com, but based on the summaries I saw it looking like it could be easy
and fast to get a skewed view of this registrar.
• I think about you get a domain but no e-mail. If you want to build a basic, five-page Web site,
you'll pay a very competitive $4.95 a month. Or you can even get a slight discount by paying $49
upfront for the year. Register.com provides extremely positive responsive service and good
functionality but only getting about 50% recommends. |
